It disgusts me that even education has not improved the mind of most of the people binded by rituals, cast n religion in our country.
I was visiting the house of a colleague whoose father had recently expired, the funeral rites had to be completed--as there being only daughters, the agni(lighting the fire to the body) had to be done by any of the cousin brothers. Some ridiculous norm being that the brother can ask anything of the family since he his being 'honourable' enough to do the last rites.
The cousin brothers had the audacity, not one but all of them present- they demanded the house, the shop they owned, or the diamond business!!
There seems to be just no respect- i must say my blood boiled-literally!I would have surely kicked them out of my house, I am glad to say that is exactly what they got.Frankly though they deserve to be shot.
Dusts of mercenary clouds thy mind

Education doesn't really change anyone's mindset. It only makes such bigots more arrogant of his/her so called achievements.
