Live like there's no tomorrow

That has got to be one line that I dont agree with at all!

To most people-it sounds very cool, but I doubt anyone in the world truly follows it to the core. To the people who can state it so blantantly, I doubt they realise the implications of these words.

If there were no tomorrow, half the world would be howling or crying for starters, another set would be fearful because of the unknown and uncertainty, few would really enjoy their day. Most people would try and spend time with their loved ones, also it would be a record breaking day for the telephone companies.

How can one simply forget their dreams, their purpose, the future. Dont we all live today, to work today for a better future, a secured future. Dont we live today, most of the time-to enjoy at a future date. Yes, one could say why dont we live for the moment, or just enjoy today instead of wasting today trying to have a better day tomorrow?

Easier said than done; how many of us would leave MBA, leave our jobs etc - and simply just live for today?

living for the day... or livin like there were no tmrw is not so much abt giving up on the path yr on, being short-sighted. instead the essence of the msg is tht yr life is a journey & there are no destinations. so enjoy the journey. cos u'll be too old n not very capable to enjoy all tht u've achieved. if u only live for work today and wait to enjoy later.

live like ther's no tmrw, so u leave nothing for another day. and after that yr most loved lines come true. if u live today by doin all the wrong things, coz there was no tmrw... tmrw will come n u'll only have the fruit of those wrong things.

n vice versa
what goes arnd comes around

Now.. this comment seems longer than yr post :P

We humans belive in perpetual life.. We expect to wake up tomorrow and live on.. None of us would expect to die tomorrow..
In such a scenario of perpetual life.. One cannot live today and forget about tomorrow..
All of us do things in a particular way today.. so that we have a better tomorrow..
If we did not believe in tomorrow, we would not be better human beings today..

do all the things that normal ppl do...but the saying holds true that throughout the day u make sure that your time is utilised doing something u like....spending time with someone u cherish, doing something that soothes your soul...help put a smile on someones face...lightening up an elderly sick person...or just generally make someone days or make ur own day..in ur case reading a book.

you dont know what tomorrow holds for u, but as and when the day comes u should have no regrets about how u have lived ur life.

you say u save for a better future, i say go ahead and do that..but have u not planned to do something in the future...my point being...sometimes we get so carried away in our presents lives that we forget to do something that we've planned to do for a while..and maybe it doesnt happen...so u live the rest of your life regreting the fact that you didnt do what u wanted...this live life like theres no tomorrow...whatever it is that you havent done...go do it...

tell somoene u love em
tell someone u care for and have had a fight that your "sorry".

life is so unpredictable that you or that person might not be around long enough for u to say that tooo....

thats why u live life like theres no tomorrow....not literally but figuratively....get it.
